In 2016, Aubrey Santucci attended the American Society of Consulting Arborists Tree Consulting Academy in Napa Valley, California. She made life long connections with some of the best arborists in the country. Learning the ropes through this rigorous program honing in on her creative report writing skills and learning the legal aspects of the tree care industry is what sets her apart from many arborists throughout the country.
Hurricane Michael devastated Panama City and the entire Bay County area in October of 2018. Living 58 miles west of the eye wall path, she was led to start a non profit, The Project Canopy. As the founding member, she was instrumental in communicating with city leaders and Bay County School District. She helped mentor a classroom at Merritt Brown Middle School called @850WeWillReGrow and presented the school with 4" live oak on Arbor Day. The students helped develop the Project Canopy website and had a lot of fun researching the importance of trees.
